- In Aug. 2003, the “Sky Pearl Credit Card” was formally issued. This is the credit card jointly issued by CGB and China Southern Airlines. The credit card is issued by CGB to frequent passengers of China Southern Airlines through the combination of the high-quality resources of both parties. It is the first credit card of double currencies issued by CGB.
- In Jul. 2003, CGB became the first bank of which the number of issued credit cards exceeded one million in the country.
- In Jul. 2003, CGB Lady’s Card won the “Best Lady's Card Programme” Award of Asia-Pacific awarded by the MasterCard International.
- In May 2003, the “CGB-Nanfang City News” Card was formally issued. This is the reader club membership card jointly issued by CGB and Nanfang City News, and the first card jointly issued by a bank and the media in the country.
- In Mar. 2003, our bank issued the CGB Lady’s Card in Beijing area, which started the trend of lady’s card in the society.
- In Jan. 2003, our bank was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Cooperation Partner” by VISA International.
