Application Scope

Remote settlement account is available for depositors in the following circumstances:
1.Basic deposit account needs to be opened for the depositor whose registration place of business license and operation place are not in the same administrative region.

2.General deposit account needs to be opened for offsite loan and other settlements.

3.Special deposit account needs to be opened for income remittance or operating expenditure of the depositor¡¯s subordinating non-independent accounting unit or subsidiary.

4.Temporary deposit account needs to be opened for offsite temporary business.

Documents for Application

The depositor shall issue the following relevant certificates in addition to relevant certificates of the unit¡¯s demand deposit account when he/she needs to open a unit bank settlement account in a different place:
1.When a depositor whose operation place and registration place are not in the same administrative region opens a basic deposit account in a different place, he/she shall issue the certificate that there is no basic deposit account by the branch of People¡¯s Bank of China in his registration place.

2.When a depositor with offsite loan opens a general deposit account in a different place, he/she shall issue the loan contract for credit in that place.

3.When a depositor who needs to handle income remittance and operating expenditure for his/her business opens a special deposit account in a different place, he/she shall issue the certificate of the subordinating unit.
A temporary institution can only open a temporary deposit account in its location, not any other bank settlement account; the depositor engaged in temporary offsite activities can only open a temporary deposit account in his/her temporary location; construction and installation businesses with multiple projects in a different place simultaneously can open temporary deposit accounts no more than the number of contracts.
