Cashier’s Cheque

Service Overview

The cashier’s cheque is a kind of bill issued by the issuing bank, upon presentment of which the bank promises to unconditionally pay the specified amount to the beneficiary or bearer.

Service Scope

It is applicable for settlements within the same bill-clearing area for both corporate and individuals.

Features

1.      Payable at sight, high credit standing, easy to use, endorsable;

2.      The maximum time limit for presentment for payment of the cashier’s cheque does not exceed 2 months;

3.      The cashier’s cheque can be use for transfer. The cashier’s cheque marked with such wording as “cash” can be used to withdraw cash (both the applicant and the beneficiary must be individuals).
