Announcement on Chairman Appointment of China Guangfa Bank Co., Ltd.

The Board of Directors and all directors of China Guangfa Bank Co., Ltd. ensure that the contents of this Announcement are free from any misrepresentation, misleading statement and material omission, and that they will assume joint and several liability for the truthfulness, accuracy and integrity of the contents.

On March 25, 2022, China Guangfa Bank Co., Ltd. (herein after referred as the "Bank") held the first Extraordinary Shareholder¡¯s Meeting in 2022 and Mr. Bai Tao was elected as Director of the Bank. On the same day, the Bank held the Sixteenth Meeting of the Ninth Board of Directors and Mr. Bai Tao was elected as the Chairman of the Ninth Board of Directors.

AAccording to relevant regulations, Mr. Bai Tao¡¯s qualification as Director and Chairman of the Ninth Board of Directors of the Bank is still subject to the approval of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, with the same tenure as that of the Ninth Board of Directors.

Resume of Mr. Bai Tao

Mr. Bai Tao, Male, born in March 1963, holds a Ph.D in Economics, and is a Senior Economist.

Mr. Bai now serves as Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, Director and Chairman (qualification to be approved) of China Guangfa Bank.

Mr. Bai served as the Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of China Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd.; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and President of China People¡¯s Insurance Group Co., Ltd.; Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Investment Corporation; Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Life Insurance (Group) Company.
